The present operation consists of the recovery of the Fort of N.S. Lady of Consolation, ordered to be built in 1641 by D. Jerónimode Ataíde, which is in a state of pre-ruin, aiming at the implantation of an interpretive and museological space intended for the cultural, tourist and scientific dissemination of the municipality of Peniche and, in particular, the local geological values and the bathing fruit of the beach of Consolação.
