The project consists of an upgrading of the production line in the company Ivory sp. z o.o., consisting of an exchange of an existing electric tunnel for the decoration of ceramics and glass on a new device with better technical parameters with recovery of technological heat and with reduced electricity demand. The efficiency of the currently used electric furnace for decoration is low, as the hydraulic system and the control system have forced the operation of continuous electric motors, and the low insulation of the furnace envelope necessitates additional heating of electric heaters, resulting in a significant electricity consumption, thus reducing the overall efficiency of the appliance. The system is energy-intensive since there is no sufficient thermal insulation of the furnace partitioning system (the heating tunnel), and it is not equipped with a heat recovery system for heat recovery from secondary air and thus requires continuous operation of electric power heaters with high electrical power, as a result of the measurements made. Electric motors, shoulder straps are largely exploited and the apparatus used to consume technology. The project contributes to solving all identified key stakeholders’ issues in the project area. The project started in the first quarter of 2018 and concluded in the fourth quarter of 2019. The project will be implemented in a single phase. The work schedule will ensure the implementation of the project within 1 year from the signature of the grant agreement. The project is in line with the assumption made in SzOP ROP WiM 2014-2020 by improving the energy efficiency of the company. The objective of the project is directly linked to the objective of sub-measure 4.2 “A major energy efficiency in enterprises”. The company will save an estimated 71 786.72 kWh/year of final energy and CO2 emissions avoided will be 24,969 MgCO2. (English)

(Polish)
