O objectivo do projecto é desenvolver potenciais fármacos a ser usados já em fase de estudos pré-clínicos para a diabetes, novos métodos de deteção de substâncias recreativas emergentes e novos biosensores para diagnóstico de doenças renais. Planeamos registar cerca de 15 patentes e a transferência da tecnologia para parceiros industriais de renome, com prevalência para aqueles sediados no norte de Portugal. (Portuguese)
