Uma rede pedonal coerente e integrada, de modo a potenciar as deslocações quotidianas de curta distância, com recurso a este modo sustentável de deslocação, fomentando-se assim, as relações funcionais existentes na cidade de Beja. Estes percursos pedonais funcionarão como uma alternativa ao Transporte Individual, permitindo o descongestionamento rodoviário, a melhoria da qualidade da mobilidade e do ambiente urbanos. A coherent and integrated pedestrian network to boost day-to-day short-distance travel using this sustainable way of travel, thus fostering the functional relations existing in the city of Beja.
