Μία από τις δύο περιοχές εστίασης της εγκεκριμένης ΣΒΑΑ του Δήμου Καλαμάτας είναι η παραλιακή ζώνη, στην οποία τα τελευταία χρόνια επεκτείνεται ο αστικός ιστός της πόλης, τόσο από άποψη δόμησης, όσο και από άποψη χρήσης από τους κατοίκους και τους επισκέπτες. Ο μετασχηματισμός της παραλιακής ζώνης σε μια μείζονα υπερτοπική πύλη αποτελεί βασικό στοιχείο του οράματος της ΣΒΑΑ. Με την υλοποίηση της πράξης θα βελτιωθεί το αστικό περιβάλλον, η εικόνα, η λειτουργία και η ελκυστικότητα της περιοχής παρέμβασης με επίπτωση στο σύνολο της πόλης. Παράλληλα, θα αναβαθμιστεί η ποιότητα ζωής των κατοίκων και θα αυξηθεί η προσέλκυση των τουριστών. (Greek)

One of the two restaurants of the approved SBAA of the Municipality of Kalamata is the coastal zone, to which in recent years the urban fabric of the city has expanded, both in terms of building and in terms of use by residents and visitors. The transformation of the coastal zone into a major superlocal gate is a key element of the vision of the SBAA. The implementation of the operation will improve the urban environment, the image, operation and attractiveness of the intervention area with an impact on the city as a whole. At the same time, the quality of life of the residents will be upgraded and the attraction of tourists will increase. (English)
