Tο βασικό αντικείμενο του έργου είναι ο κύριος οδικός άξονας σύνδεσης, του ΑΚ Τερόβου της Ιόνιας Οδού (επί της 7ης Επαρχιακής Οδού Ιωαννίνων - Πηγαδιών) με την 2η Επαρχιακή Οδό Ιωαννίνων - Γέφυρα Πλάκας με συνολικό μήκος 9,809.27m, που αποτελεί σχεδόν καθολικά νέα χάραξη και όχι βελτίωση κάποιας προϋφιστάμενης οδού.Το έργο περιλαμβάνει δύο ισόπεδες συνδέσεις αυτού με την 7η και την 2η Επαρχιακή Οδό καθώς και άλλες τρείς που αποκαθιστούν την οδική σύνδεση με το υπάρχον οδικό δίκτυο. Επίσης θα υλοποιηθεί η εγκατάσταση οδοφωτισμών σε κατάλληλο μήκος και διάταξη και στους 5 ισόπεδους κόμβους με σκοπό τον πλήρη φωτοτεχνικό έλεγχό τους. θα κατασκευαστεί Γέφυρα μήκους 134.0m από χ.θ. 7+316.52 έως χ.θ. 7+450.50 της Κύριας Οδού. Για τη συγκεκριμένη γέφυρα προβλέπεται η εγκατάσταση οδοφωτισμού τόσο πάνω στη γέφυρα, όσο εκατέρωθεν αυτής σε αποστάσεις 50 μέτρων, με αποστάσεις ιστών 25 μέτρα. (Greek)
