Το έργο αφορά στην κατασκευή του εσωτερικού δικτύου ακαθάρτων της πόλης της Κόνιτσας και τη διασύνδεση του μέσω κατασκευής εξωτερικού δικτύου μεταφοράς σε θέση όπου θα κατασκευαστεί η μονάδα Εγκατάστασης Επεξεργασίας Λυμάτων (ΕΕΛ) του Δήμου Κόνιτσας. Με τη δημιουργία των παραπάνω υποδομών, εξασφαλίζεται εφεξής η μη χρήση των απορροφητικών βόθρων στην πόλη της Κόνιτσας και επομένως εξαλείφονται τα όποια προβλήματα ρύπανσης των επιφανειακών και υπόγειων υδάτων της περιοχής.
