Κύριος στόχος της προτεινόμενης Πράξης είναι να αναβαθμιστεί συνολικά και σταδιακά η διαχείριση των Αστικών Στερεών Αποβλήτων (ΑΣΑ) στο Δήμο Νέας Ιωνίας μέσα από την επικαιροποίηση, εξειδίκευση και διαμόρφωση του Τοπικού Σχεδίου Διαχείρισης ΑΣΑ του Δήμου, στη βάση μιας ολιστικής προσέγγισης, ώστε να εναρμονιστεί με τις σύγχρονες τάσεις που προβάλλουν το Εθνικό Σχέδιο Ενίσχυσης της Κυκλικής Οικονομίας και η νέα Κοινοτική Οδηγία για την διαχείριση και την ανακύκλωση αποβλήτων (PE - CONS 11/18 - Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο), ενσωματώνοντας την διεθνή εμπειρία και πρακτική.Η προτεινόμενη Πράξη έρχεται σε συμφωνία με τον αναθεωρημένο ΠΕΣΔΑ Αττικής και καλύπτει και την υποχρέωση του Δήμου σε εθνικό επίπεδο, όπως απορρέει από τον αναθεωρημένο Εθνικό Σχεδιασμό Διαχείρισης του Υπουργείου Ενέργειας (ΥΠ.ΕΝ.) όπου καθορίζεται η υποχρέωση των Δήμων να σχεδιάζουν και να εφαρμόζουν τοπικά σχέδια αποκεντρωμένης διαχείρισης αποβλήτων, στο πλαίσιο των εθνικών και των περιφερειακών σχεδιασμών.Ειδικότερα, η προτεινόμενη Πράξη συμβάλει:i. Στην επίτευξη των υποχρεώσεων για την εκτροπή από διάθεση σε χώρο ταφής του βιοαποδομήσιμου κλάσματος των αστικών αποβλήτων,ii. Στην επίτευξη των στόχων της ανακύκλωσης του άρθρου 27 του Νόμου 4042/2012 (άρθρο 11 της Οδηγίας 2008/98/ΕΚ) και του άρθρου 28 της Οδηγίας 2008/98/ΕΚ (αρ.22 Ν.4042/2012), όπως εκφράζεται μέσω του ΕΣΔΑ, με έμφαση στη χωριστή συλλογή διακριτών ρευμάτωνiii. Στην Ανάπτυξη δικτύου χωριστής συλλογής βιοαποβλήτων, προς επίτευξη των στόχων του άρθρου 41 του Ν. 4042/2012 σε εθνικό και περιφερειακό επίπεδο. (Greek)
