Το παρόν έργο αφορά στη μελέτη εκπόνησης του Περιφειακού Σχεδίου για την «Προσαρμογή στην κλιματική αλλαγή στην Περιφέρεια Πελοποννήσου » (ΠεΣΠΚΑ) διάρκεια 1 έτος (συμπεριλαμβανομένης και της διαβούλευσης) το όποιο θα αποτελεί ένα ολοκληρωμένο, τεκμηριωμένο, κοστολογημένο, ρεαλιστικό σχέδιο που προσδιορίζει και ιεραρχεί τα απαραίτητα μέτρα και δράσεις προσαρμογής στην κλιματική αλλαγή. Το επιστημονικό μέρος της μελέτης θα περιέχει επιμέρους έργα τα οποία θα αφορούν στην κλιματική επικινδυνότητα και τρωτότητα σε περιφερειακό επίπεδο, τα ακραία καιρικά φαινόμενα, τη δασοπονία, γεωργία και κτηνοτροφία καθώς και τη βιοποικιλότητα και τα χερσαία και θαλάσσια οικοσυστήματα. Επίσης θα περιλαμβάνει τους υδάτινους πόρους, θέματα ενεργειακά, συμπεριλαμβανομένων του δομημένου περιβάλλοντος, των υποδομών και των μεταφορών, τουρισμό, υγεία, βιομηχανία και πολιτιστική κληρονομιά.
