The Montenegrin Local Community of Montenegrin (Montenegrin and Cryas Vrysi settlements) faces an acute drinking water quality problem as this shows that acceptable limits in nitrates and iron are exceeded. The project includes the construction of a new water pipeline (4,295 m in total) to supply the water tank located in the Montenegrin settlement as well as the installation of a new pumping complex in existing drilling. The new water pipeline will connect an existing well located in the “Panagia” site of the local community of Krannona with the existing water reservoir located at the location “Gyftos” in the settlement of Montenegro with a capacity of 50 m² from where the water is led to the water supply network of Montenegrin and Kryas Vrysi settlements. Η Τοπική Κοινότητα Μαυροβουνίου της ΔΕ Κραννώνα (οικισμοί Μαυροβουνίου και Κρύας Βρύσης) αντιμετωπίζει οξύ πρόβλημα ποιότητας πόσιμου νερού δεδομένου ότι αυτό εμφανίζει υπέρβαση αποδεκτών ορίων σε νιτρικά και σίδηρο. Το έργο περιλαμβάνει την κατασκευή νέου αγωγού ύδρευσης (συνολικού μήκους 4.295 μέτρων) για την τροφοδοσία της υδατοδεξαμενής που βρίσκεται στον οικισμό Μαυροβουνίου καθώς και την τοποθέτηση νέου αντλητικού συγκροτήματος σε υφιστάμενη γεώτρηση. Ο νέος υδρευτικός αγωγός θα συνδέει υφιστάμενη γεώτρηση που βρίσκεται στη θέση «Παναγιά» της τοπικής κοινότητας Κραννώνα με την υφιστάμενη υδατοδεξαμενή που βρίσκεται στη θέση «Γύφτος» στον οικισμό Μαυροβουνίου χωρητικότητας 50μ3 απ όπου το νερό οδηγείται στο δίκτυο ύδρευσης των οικισμών Μαυροβουνίου και Κρύας Βρύσης.
