Πρόκειται να γίνει η προμήθεια και εγκατάσταση των προαναφερθέντων συστημάτων, προκειμένου να επιτευχθεί μείωση της κατανάλωσης πρωτογενούς ενέργειας στο Γενικό Λύκειο Τυρνάβου, κατά τρόπο ώστε να αναβαθμιστεί ενεργειακά από την ενεργειακή κλάση Ζ και Ε, που αφορά την υφιστάμενη κατάσταση, σε ενεργειακή κλάση Α και Α+.Η προτεινόμενη ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση αναμένεται να μειώσει το λειτουργικό κόστος του σχολικού συγκροτήματος δραστικά με ταυτόχρονη αναβάθμιση των συνθηκών θερμικής άνεσης και, κατ επέκταση, την ποιοτική βελτίωση των συνθηκών λειτουργίας του σχολείου και της διαβίωσης των μαθητών και του εκπαιδευτικού προσωπικού.
