Το έργο αφορά στην ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση του κτιρίου όπου στεγάζεται το 2ο Λύκειο Γιαννιτσών. Το κτίριο είναι ιδιαίτερα ενεργοβόρο και απαιτούνται παρεμβάσεις για την ορθή, περιβαλλοντικά και οικονομικά, λειτουργία του, με στόχο τις ελάχιστες ενεργειακές ανάγκες σε όλο το έτος και την κάλυψη των αναγκών αυτών με το κατά το δυνατόν αποδοτικότερο σύστημα. Οι προβλεπόμενες παρεμβάσεις στο πλαίσιο του παρόντος έργου είναι οι ακόλουθες: - Προσθήκη Θερμομόνωσης κελύφους στις εξωτερικές τοιχοποιίες και στο δώμα του κτιρίου. - Αντικατάσταση παλαιών κουφωμάτων με νέα διπλού υαλοπίνακα. - Προσθήκη θερμοστατικών βαλβίδων στα θερμαντικά σώματα. - Αντικατάσταση των φωτιστικών σωμάτων με νέα σύγχρονης τεχνολογίας LED. - Προσθήκη συστημάτων ελέγχου τεχνητού φωτισμού. - Αντικατάσταση κλιματιστικών μονάδων με νέα σύγχρονης τεχνολογίας. - Εγκατάσταση Φωτοβολταϊκού συστήματος, με σύμψηφισμό παραγόμενης και καταναλισκόμενης ενέργειας (net metering).
