As far as the Greek population is concerned, and according to valid scientific studies, increased rates of obesity are present in Europe and especially in Mediterranean countries such as Spain and Greece. The rate of childhood obesity in Greece is among the highest in Europe (540.000 630,000 children and 30-35 % adolescents in Greece are overweight or obese). This showed a study by the World Health Organisation entitled “WHO European Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative (COSI)” whose scientific evidence was presented by the Hellenic Society of Obesity Obesity Obesity Surveillance Initiative (COSI).This implies the need to tackle obesity with emphasis on prevention and treatment of obesity during childhood, since its prevention constitutes an improvement in the health of our country’s citizens during adulthood. This results in a reduction in hospitalisation costs due to the complications of obesity.This demonstrates that the role of dietist is particularly important, especially at a time when the public health system is declining due to the prolonged crisis.B. Ο ΡΟΛΟΣ ΚΑΙ Η ΑΝΑΓΚΑΙΟΤΗΤΑ ΤΟΥ ΔΙΑΙΤΟΛΟΓΟΥ / ΔΙΑΤΡΟΦΟΛΟΓΟΥ ΣΗΜΕΡΑΗ παχυσαρκία σχετίζεται με την αύξηση του λίπους στο σώμα μας και ποιο συγκεκριμένα έχει παρουσιαστεί σαν μια παθολογική κατάσταση η οποία συνοδεύεται από αυξημένη αποθήκευση λίπους αναλογικά με τις προτεινόμενες τιμές για το ύψος, φύλλο και την ηλικία μας. Όσον αφορά τις επιπλοκές της παχυσαρκία για την υγεία μας, πληθώρα ερευνών έχουν παρουσιάσει ότι η παχυσαρκία σχετίζεται με σοβαρά προβλήματα υγείας όπως ινσουλινοαντοχή και διαβήτη τύπου ΙΙ, διαταραχές του ενδοθηλίου, υπέρταση, καρδιαγγειακά προβλήματα, υπερλιπιδαιμία, χολολιθίαση, παγκρεατίτιδα, υπογοναδισμός και πολυκυστικές ωοθήκες, διαταραχές της νεφρικής λειτουργιάς, ορθοπεδικές επιπλοκές, κακοήθειες.Σύμφωνα με επιστημονικές μελέτες και έρευνες, 300 εκατομμύρια άνθρωποι παγκοσμίως είναι παχύσαρκοι και αυτός ο αριθμός αναμένεται να διπλασιαστεί μέχρι το 2025. Όσον αφορά τον Ελληνικό πληθυσμό, και σύμφωνα με έγκυρες επιστημονικές μελέτες, παρουσιάζονται αυξημένα ποσοστά παχυσαρκίας στην Ευρώπη και ειδικότερα στις Μεσογειακές χώρες όπως η Ισπανία και η Ελλάδα. Το ποσοστό της παιδικής παχυσαρκίας στην Ελλάδα είναι από τα υψηλοτέρα στην Ευρώπη (540.000 – 630.000 παιδιά και έφηβοι 30-35% στην Ελλάδα είναι υπέρβαροι ή παχύσαρκοι). Αυτό κατέδειξε έρευνα του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Υγείας με τίτλο ¨WHO European Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative (COSI)¨, τις οποίας τα επιστημονικά στοιχειά παρουσιαστήκαν από την Ελληνική Εταιρία Παχυσαρκίας.Έτσι προκύπτει η αναγκαιότητα αντιμετώπισης της παχυσαρκίας με έμφαση στην πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση της κατά την παιδική ηλικία, αφού η πρόληψη της συνιστά βελτίωση της υγείας των πολιτών της χώρας μας κατά την ενήλικη ζωή. Αυτό έχει σαν αποτέλεσμα την ελάττωση του κόστους νοσηλείας λόγω των επιπλοκών της παχυσαρκίας.Απ’ όλα αυτά καταδεικνύεται ότι ο ρόλος του διαιτολόγου είναι ιδιαιτέρα σημαντικός, ιδίως σε μια εποχή που το σύστημα δημόσιας υγείας φθίνει λόγω της παρατεταμένης κρίσης.Β. ΤΟ ΠΕΡΙΒΑΛΛΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΠΙΧΕΙΡΗΣΗΣΗ δικαιούχος έχοντας:1. Την επιστημονική επάρκεια (Πτυχίο ως Διαιτολόγος – Διατροφολόγος του τμήματος Α.Τ.Ε.Ι. Κρήτης, Πιστοποιητικό επιμόρφωσης από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών στο αντικείμενο με τίτλο «Κλινική Διατροφή», Πιστοποίηση Master Practitioner στις Διατροφικές Διαταραχές και Παχυσαρκία ενηλίκων, παιδιών και εφήβων από το Κέντρο Εκπαίδευσης Αντιμετώπισης Διατροφικών Διαταραχών (ΚΕΑΔΔ)).2. Την επαγγελματική εμπειρία (πρακτική άσκηση από το Νοέμβριο 2012 μέχρι το Μάιο του 2013 στο Γ.Ν.Α. «Ο Ευαγγελισμός»)αποφασίζει να ξεκίνησε την επιχειρηματική της δραστηριότητα ιδρύοντας την ατομική της επιχείρηση (διαιτολογικό γραφείο) και ασκώντας το επάγγελμα της Διαιτολόγου - ΔιατροφολόγουΟ χώρος στον οποίο πρόκειται να ασκηθεί η επαγγελματική δραστηριότητα της δικαιούχου, είναι στο κέντρο της πόλης βρίσκεται σε κεντρική οδό, κατά συνέπεια έχει τη δυνατότητα να προσελκύει νέους πελάτες. Η επιλογή του συγκεκριμένου χώρου δεν έγινε τυχαία, αφού βρίσκεται στο κέντρο ενός δικτύου συνεργατών (κυρίως γιατρών, μικροβιολογικών εργαστηρίων κλπ) με σκοπό την ανταλλαγή πληροφοριών και υπηρεσιών αλλά κυρίως τη δημιουργία ενός ενιαίου δικτύου πελατών, από το οποίο επωφελούνται όλοι οι εμπλεκόμενοι επαγγελματίες.
