A common challenge of the Ukrainian and Polish side of the cross-border area is to improve fire safety and broadly understood rescue work as well as to develop preventive measures in the cross-border area. The project’s partners respond to current threats such as ASF, bird flu, as well as to threats with a high risk of occurrence due to the nature of the area (high forestation, the largest unregulated river in Europe, the Bug, transport routes), including: chemical contamination, large-area fires, floods. To ensure a comprehensive approach to diagnosed problems, the partners plan soft and investment actions. Investment actions will be taken first (purchase of vehicles, specialised equipment and protective clothing as well as creation of the proper infrastructure, training complex, equipment preparation base and regional Stockpile of extinguishing agents, modernisation of control station). Next, a series of actions integrating rescue workers from Poland and Ukraine will begin on the basis of completed investments. Specialised training for firefighters, exercises, sports and firefighting competitions will be conducted jointly in combination with a cycle of preventive meetings being part of the local events that make it possible for the Partners to exchange experience. Les partenaires du projet réagissent aux menaces actuelles telles que la peste aviaire, la grippe aviaire, ainsi qu’aux menaces présentant un risque élevé d’occurrence en raison de la nature de la zone (forte forêt, la plus grande rivière non réglementée d’Europe, le Bug, les voies de transport), notamment: contamination chimique, incendies de grande superficie, inondations. Afin d’assurer une approche globale des problèmes diagnostiqués, le partenaire planifie des actions douces et d’investissement. Les mesures d’investissement seront d’abord prises (achat de véhicules, d’équipements spécialisés et de vêtements de protection, création d’infrastructures adéquates, complexe de formation, base de préparation des équipements et stocks régionaux d’agents extincteurs, modernisation du poste de contrôle). Un reto común de la parte ucraniana y polaca de la zona transfronteriza es mejorar la seguridad contra incendios y el trabajo de rescate ampliamente entendido, así como desarrollar medidas preventivas en la zona transfronteriza. Los socios del proyecto responden a amenazas actuales como la peste porcina, la gripe aviar, así como a las amenazas con un alto riesgo de ocurrencia debido a la naturaleza de la zona (alta forestación, el mayor río no regulado de Europa, el Bug, rutas de transporte), incluyendo: contaminación química, incendios de gran superficie, inundaciones. Para garantizar un enfoque global de los problemas diagnosticados, los socios planifican acciones blandas y de inversión. En primer lugar, se adoptarán medidas de inversión (compra de vehículos, equipo especializado y ropa de protección, así como creación de la infraestructura adecuada, complejo de formación, base de preparación de equipos y reservas regionales de agentes extintores, modernización de la estación de control). A continuación, se iniciará una serie de acciones que integren a los trabajadores de rescate de Polonia y Ucrania sobre la base de las inversiones realizadas. La formación especializada de bomberos, ejercicios, deportes y competiciones de lucha contra incendios se llevará a cabo conjuntamente en combinación con un ciclo de reuniones preventivas que forman parte de los eventos locales que permiten a los socios intercambiar experiencias. A common challenge of the Ukrainian and Polish side of the cross-border area is to improve fire safety and broadly understood rescue work as well as to develop preventive measures in the cross-border area. The project's partners respond to current threats such as ASF, bird flu, as well as to threats with a high risk of occurrence due to the nature of the area (high forestation, the largest unregulated river in Europe, the Bug, transport routes), including: chemical contamination, large-area fires, floods. To ensure a comprehensive approach to diagnosed problems, the partners plan soft and investment actions. Investment actions will be taken first (purchase of vehicles, specialized equipment and protective clothing as well as creation of the proper infrastructure, training complex, equipment preparation base and regional stockpile of extinguishing agents, modernization of control station). Next, a series of actions integrating rescue workers from Poland and Ukraine will begin on the basis of completed investments. Specialized training for firefighters, exercises, sports and firefighting competitions will be conducted jointly in combination with a cycle of preventive meetings being part of the local events that make it possible for the Partners to exchange experience. L’un des défis communs de la partie ukrainienne et polonaise de la zone transfrontalière est d’améliorer la sécurité incendie et les opérations de sauvetage largement comprises, ainsi que de mettre au point des mesures préventives dans la zone transfrontalière. Les partenaires du projet réagissent aux menaces actuelles telles que la peste aviaire, la grippe aviaire, ainsi qu’aux menaces présentant un risque élevé d’occurrence en raison de la nature de la zone (forte forêt, la plus grande rivière non réglementée d’Europe, le Bug, les voies de transport), notamment: contamination chimique, incendies de grande superficie, inondations. Afin d’assurer une approche globale des problèmes diagnostiqués, le partenaire planifie des actions douces et d’investissement. Les mesures d’investissement seront d’abord prises (achat de véhicules, d’équipements spécialisés et de vêtements de protection, création d’infrastructures adéquates, complexe de formation, base de préparation des équipements et stocks régionaux d’agents extincteurs, modernisation du poste de contrôle). Ensuite, une série d’actions intégrant des travailleurs de secours de Pologne et d’Ukraine commenceront sur la base d’investissements achevés. Eine gemeinsame Herausforderung für die ukrainische und polnische Seite des Grenzgebiets besteht darin, die Brandsicherheit und allgemein verstandene Rettungsarbeiten zu verbessern und Präventivmaßnahmen im grenzüberschreitenden Bereich zu entwickeln. Die Projektpartner reagieren auf aktuelle Bedrohungen wie ASF, Vogelgrippe sowie auf Bedrohungen mit einem hohen Risiko des Auftretens aufgrund der Art des Gebiets (hohe Bewaldung, der größte unregulierte Fluss in Europa, der Bug, Transportwege), einschließlich: chemische Kontamination, großflächige Brände, Überschwemmungen. Um einen umfassenden Ansatz für diagnostische Probleme zu gewährleisten, planen die Partner Soft- und Investitionsmaßnahmen. Zunächst werden Investitionsmaßnahmen ergriffen (Kauf von Fahrzeugen, Spezialausrüstungen und Schutzkleidung sowie Schaffung einer geeigneten Infrastruktur, Schulungskomplex, Ausrüstungsvorbereitungsbasis und regionaler Lagerbestand an Löschmitteln, Modernisierung der Leitstelle). Als nächstes wird eine Reihe von Maßnahmen zur Integration von Rettungskräften aus Polen und der Ukraine auf der Grundlage abgeschlossener Investitionen beginnen. Spezialisierte Schulungen für Feuerwehrleute, Übungen, Sport- und Brandbekämpfungswettbewerbe werden gemeinsam durchgeführt, wobei ein Zyklus präventiver Treffen Teil der lokalen Veranstaltungen ist, die es den Partnern ermöglichen, Erfahrungen auszutauschen. Een gemeenschappelijke uitdaging voor de Oekraïense en Poolse zijde van het grensoverschrijdende gebied is het verbeteren van de brandveiligheid en algemeen begrepen reddingswerk en het ontwikkelen van preventieve maatregelen in het grensoverschrijdende gebied. De partners van het project reageren op actuele bedreigingen zoals ASF, vogelgriep en bedreigingen met een hoog risico op voorvallen als gevolg van de aard van het gebied (hoge bebossing, de grootste ongereguleerde rivier in Europa, de Bug, transportroutes), waaronder: chemische verontreiniging, grote bosbranden, overstromingen. Om te zorgen voor een alomvattende aanpak van gediagnosticeerde problemen, plannen de partners zachte en investeringsacties. Er zullen eerst investeringsacties worden ondernomen (aankoop van voertuigen, gespecialiseerde uitrusting en beschermende kleding, aanleg van de juiste infrastructuur, opleidingscomplex, voorbereiding van de apparatuur en regionale voorraden blusmiddelen, modernisering van de controlestations). Vervolgens zal op basis van voltooide investeringen een reeks acties worden gestart waarin reddingswerkers uit Polen en Oekraïne worden geïntegreerd. Gespecialiseerde trainingen voor brandweerlieden, oefeningen, sport- en brandbestrijdingswedstrijden worden gezamenlijk uitgevoerd in combinatie met een cyclus van preventieve bijeenkomsten die deel uitmaken van de lokale evenementen die het voor de Partners mogelijk maken om ervaringen uit te wisselen. Una sfida comune per la parte ucraina e polacca della zona transfrontaliera consiste nel migliorare la sicurezza antincendio e i lavori di salvataggio ampiamente compresi, nonché nell'elaborare misure preventive nella zona transfrontaliera. I partner del progetto rispondono alle minacce attuali come la PSA, l'influenza aviaria, nonché le minacce con un rischio elevato di insorgenza a causa della natura della zona (alta foresta, il più grande fiume non regolamentato d'Europa, Bug, rotte di trasporto), tra cui: contaminazione chimica, incendi su vasta area, inondazioni. Per garantire un approccio globale ai problemi diagnosticati, i partner pianificano azioni non vincolanti e di investimento. Le azioni di investimento saranno intraprese in primo luogo (acquisto di veicoli, attrezzature specializzate e indumenti protettivi, creazione di infrastrutture adeguate, complesso di formazione, base di preparazione delle attrezzature e scorte regionali di agenti estinguenti, ammodernamento della stazione di controllo). Successivamente, una serie di azioni che integreranno i soccorritori provenienti dalla Polonia e dall'Ucraina inizieranno sulla base degli investimenti completati.
