Jigni State was a Princely State during British India it was Founded by H.H. Maharajadhiraj Shri Rao MadanDev Pratap Singh Parihar Ji second elder Son of the H.H. Maharaja MahaSingh of Ramgarh the state was given as jagir by Bundela ruler.

  • HH Rao Hanumant Singh was captured by Britishers after a stiff battle and was hanged . His wife bagheli princess and thakurani Bitto kunwar became sati with him . still sati chabootra is there . present heir HHRao Dinkar Singh Parihar Reside in KOTA.
