Građanima i dalje nedostaju osnovne informacije o gospodarenju otpadom (GO), a informativni materijali formom i sadržajem ne prate dinamiku promjena u sektoru GO. Građani pritom imaju nejasnu sliku o svojoj ulozi u cjelovitom sustavu GO. U projektu će se educirati i informirati 100% stanovnika (10.969, DZS, 2011) općina Tar-Vabriga, Funtana, Kaštelir-Labinci, Sveti Lovreč, Višnjan, Vižinada i Vrsar o održivom GO, o sprečavanju nastanka otpada odvojenom prikupljanju komunalnog otpada, kućnom kompostiranju i ponovnoj uporabi predmeta. Stečeno znanje građani će primijeniti pri promjeni svojih svakodnevnih životnih navika i usvojiti važnost odgovornog postupanja s otpadom za socio-ekonomski održivi napredak svog okruženja. Citizens still lack basic information on waste management (GO), and the actual fact sheets and content do not follow up the dynamics of the GO sector. In doing so, citizens have an unclear picture of their role in the overall GO system. The project will educate and inform 100 % of the population (10.969, CBS, 2011) the municipalities of Tara-Varese, the Funtana, Kaštela Labadica, Saint Lovech, Visnjan, Vižnada and Vrar on Sustainable GO, on prevention of waste arising from separate collection of municipal waste, home composting and re-use of objects. The knowledge that has been acquired will be applied by the general public in changing their everyday lives, and will also adopt the importance of responsible waste treatment for the socio-economic and sustainable progress of their environment.
