Javni sektor u RH digitalne tehnologije primjenjuje sporadično koristeći rješenja razvijena za uska funkcionalna područja bez sagledavanja cjelokupnog procesa i integracije procesa različitih tijela javne uprave pa stoga e-usluge u RH koristi tek 31,9 % građana i 92,7% poslovnih subjekata. Kako bi se navedena situacija poboljšala te kako bi se ostvario cilj povećanja kvalitete e-usluga javne uprave, projektom će se standardizirati okvir za unificirani i brži razvoj i implementaciju e-usluga te će se ojačati kapaciteti zaposlenika državne i javne uprave za razvoj i implementaciju e-usluga.
