Jedan od glavnih zadataka statističkog sustava jest učinkovita i pravodobna priprema i diseminacija kvalitetnih statisičkih pokazatelja koji odražavaju ekonomske i društvene pojave i procese te osiguravaju korisnicima pouzdan izvor za analizu postojećeg stanja i donošenje odluka. Uvođenjem alata za sustav upravljanja kvalitetom ide se u smjeru postizanja najviše moguće kvalitete službenih statisičkih podataka te ih se čini dostupnima korisnicima u većoj mjeri i u kraćem roku, s ciljem donošenja pravodobnih i utemeljenih odluka na svim razinama upravljanja. One of the main tasks of the statistical system is the effective and timely preparation and dissemination of quality static indicators reflecting economic and social phenomena and processes and providing users a reliable source for the analysis and decision-making process of the state. The introduction of a quality management system tool goes towards achieving the highest possible quality of official controls and makes them accessible to users to a greater extent and within a shorter timeframe, with a view to taking timely and informed decisions at all levels of governance.
