Zgrada čija je obnova cilj ovog projekta, zbog svoje starosti ne zadovoljava kriterije i uvjete koje objekti takve, društvene namjene trebaju ispunjavati. Projektnim aktivnostima (toplinska zaštita ovojnice, zamjena postojećih otvora ugradnjom novih otvora, zamjena postojećeg neadekvatnog sustava grijanja, ugradnja novih energetski učinkovitijih rasvjetnih tijela te ugradnja dizala) doprinijeti će se smanjenju potrošnje energije. Realizacijom predviđenih projektnih aktivnosti svi korisnici škole, osoblje, nastavnici ali ponajprije učenici, dobiti će kvalitetniji i suvremeniji, energetski prihvatljiviji objekt za rad.
