Razvija se novi sustav plaćanja akutnih bolnica baziran na zadnjoj verziji sustava AR-DRG i klasifikacije bolesti ICD-10. Uvode se novi i unaprijeđeni medicinski postupci u evidenciju i fakturiranje bazirani na napretku medicinske struke i načina praćenja rada u zadnjih 9 godina. Uvedeni sustavi rezultirati će ispravnim kodiranjem usluga i fakturiranjem stvarnih medicinskih postupaka prema HZZO-u. Time će biti olakšano praćenje pokazatelja učinkovitosti i kvalitete između bolnica čime će se građanima omogućiti uvid u račune i izbor bolnica gdje se najefikasnije provodi određeni postupak.
