The spring-winter’s cross brake through the pandemic situation has given the opportunity to adjust and rethink how we should be competitive in the long term – and year-round – and the 250 member companies together have prioritised this effort to be of great importance to strengthen the common competitiveness. This is in an area where no single operator can deliver alone. Åre Destination therefore wishes to unite the private companies to become an active party in sharing this social responsibility together with public parties. Åre through Åre Destination has chosen to focus on efforts to strengthen a place/destination where we want to strengthen local service chains regarding being able to sustainably receive an increased number of guests all year round. This on behalf of Åre Destinations 250 local member companies to strengthen their own competitiveness in the short and long term. (English)

    Med ett ökat tryck av såväl bofasta men framförallt gäster året runt behöver Åre nu skyndsamt arbeta för att kunna möta framtida ökningar av gäster och dessutom på en nivå som skall möta förväntningar och inte minst krav på hållbarhetsaspekter. Åre vill och behöver nu ta klivet upp i nästa division gällande att förhöja upplevelsen av och på platsen åretrunt med extra fokus på sommar- och höstsäsong. Vårvinterns tvärbroms genom läget i pandemin har gett möjlighet att ställa om och tänka nytt gällande hur vi skall vara konkurrenskraftiga på lång sikt - och året runt framöver - och de 250 medlemsföretagen har tillsammans prioriterat denna insats vara av stor vikt för att stärka den gemensamma konkurrenskraften. Detta inom ett område där ingen enskild aktör kan leverera ensam. Åre Destination önskar därför att kraftsamla de privata företagen för att bli en aktiv part i att dela detta samhällsansvar tillsammans med offentliga parter. Åre genom Åre Destination har valt att fokusera på insatser för att stärka en plats/destination där vi önskar stärka lokala servicekedjor gällande att på ett hållbart sätt kunna ta emot ett ökat antal gäster året runt. Detta på uppdrag av Åre Destinations 250 lokala medlemsföretag för att stärka deras egen konkurrenskraft på kort- och lång sikt. (Swedish)
