Förstudien ska bidra till att utreda nya modeller for att tillgodose det ökande behovet av dagligvaruförsörjning i områden där det av olika anledningar inte finns konventionella butiker etablerade. Genom att undersöka hur digitala beställningskanaler från etablerade aktörer med breda sortiment och befintliga logistiska strukturer kan kombineras med en ny typ av platsoberoende leveranspunkt ska en modell som både ger förutsättningar för etablering av servicepunkter för dagligvaror och livsmedel på platser där det inte är lönsamt att starta konventionella butiker som samtidigt också kan bli attraktiva komplement till befintliga livsmedelsaktörer. Såväl det löpande arbetet som resultatet av förstudien kommer att spridas både via Stöckebygdens utvecklings kommunikationskanaler - egna och förtjänade - via informationsträffar med intresserade aktörer samt via partners relevanta kanaler och arrangemang.
