Celem projektu jest stworzenie nowych możliwości do prowadzenia działalności kulturalnej poprzez realizację prac budowlano-konserwatorskich w Kościele Wniebowzięcia NMP w Bestwinie. Zakres projektu obejmuje wykonanie niezbędnej dokumentacji, uzyskanie pozwoleń i wykonanie prac związanych z zabezpieczeniem substancji zabytkowej obiektu, tj. renowacja ścian, elewacji, schodów, wnętrza kościoła oraz remont nawierzchni obejścia kościoła i jego dostosowanie do potrzeb os. niepełnosprawnych. W wyniku realizacji projektu powstanie nowa oferta działań kulturalnych obejmująca nowy cykl koncertów w kościele oraz udostępnienie krypty dla zwiedzających, co przyczyni się do wzrostu liczby osób odwiedzających zabytek. W efekcie projektu powstanie przestrzeń służąca podnoszeniu świadomości zasobów dziedzictwa kulturowego, jego rozpoznawalności, wzmacniania poczucia identyfikacji oraz ochronie wartości społeczno-kulturowych.
