THE AIM OF THE RI-HOUTING PROJECT IS TO RESPOND TO THE HOUSING DEPRIVATION OF THE SO-CALLED ‘GREY AREA’ OF THE POPULATION (THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT RESOURCES TO ENTER THE HOUSING MARKET, BUT THEY ARE NOT VERY POOR TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC HOUSING) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PERUGIA AND ASSISI. THE PROJECT IS SOCIAL INNOVATION IN THAT IT PROPOSES A SOLUTION CAPABLE OF CREATING ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL VALUE FOR THE COMMUNITY, USING THE UNUSED REAL ESTATE ASSETS IN ORDER TO RESPOND TO PEOPLE EXPERIENCING A SITUATION OF FRAGILITIS.
