    CERIT-SC je výzkumná infrastruktura poskytující vědecké komunitě flexibilní výpočetní kapacity a datová úložiště. Stojí na 3 pilířích - dostatečně rozsáhlý hardware, cílený výzkum ve vybraných oblastech informatiky a dlouhodobá spolupráce s uživateli.Cíle tohoto projektu jsou opětovně posunout centrum na technologickou špičku (investicemi do hardware) a posílit výzkum v kritických oblastech velkých dat a intenzivních výpočtů, tedy know-how potřebného k efektivnímu využití hardwarových zdrojů. a.     CERIT-SC is a research infrastructure providing flexible computing capacity and data storage to the scientific community. It is based on 3 pillars – sufficiently extensive hardware, targeted research in selected areas of informatics and long-term cooperation with users.The objectives of this project are to move the center to the technological top (by investing in hardware) and strengthen research in critical areas of large data and intensive calculations, i.e. know-how needed for efficient use of hardware resources.
