Obsahem projektu je rekonstrukce mostu v km 1,429 na regionální jednokolejné trati Pňovany - Bezdružice (s označením v j.ř. číslem 177). Napojení této trati je v žst. Pňovany na III. tranzitní koridor. V současné době zajíždějí vlaky z této tratě přímo do Plzně. Realizací projektu dojde k odstranění špatného stavebně-technického stavu mostu, který snižuje přechodnost celého traťového úseku. Rovněž snížení rychlosti, které bylo na mostě zavedeno, bude rekonstrukcí odstraněno. (Czech)
