Cílem projektu je výstavba nové vodní nádrže, přírodě blízkého obtokového koryta vodního toku a 3 zemních bezodtokých tůní, hlavním účelem realizovaných opatření bude vytvoření nového krajinného prvku v cenné lokalitě s významnou krajinotvornou a ekologickou hodnotou, zvýšení retenční schopnosti území, extenzivní chov ryb a zadržování vody v krajině. Stavba se nachází na území Chráněné krajinné oblasti Žďárské vrchy a Chráněné oblasti přirozené akumulace vod Žďárské vrchy. (Czech)
