Cílem projektu je vybudovat bezpečné spojení města Slaný a obce Vítov a to pomocí vybudování cyklostezky mezi městem Slaný a obcí Žižice-Vítov, Cyklostezka se stane součástí páteřní trasy CT 202 mezi městy Louny- Slaný - Kralupy nad Vltavou. Rekonstrukce komunikací na trase CT 202 je modernizace tří úseků cyklotrasy mezi městem Slaný a obcí Vítov v celkové délce 1 6801 m, přičemž součástí žádosti o dotaci je pouze úsek B a C v délce 1 536 m.
