Cílem tohoto projektu je časný záchyt karcinomu prostaty pomocí screeningu PSA vedoucí k včasnému zahájení léčby a eliminaci rozvoje obtížně léčitelného metastatického onemocnění. Současně lze očekávat i snížení mortality. (Czech)

The subject of the submitted project is a pilot project of early detection of prostate cancer in a group of persons dispensed by a doctor after a previous cancer. It is therefore a project aimed at a clearly defined population of men. The aim of this project is early detection of prostate cancer through PSA screening leading to early initiation of treatment and elimination of the development of difficult metastatic disease. At the same time, a reduction in mortality may be expected. (English)
