Hlavním záměrem projektu je kompletní obnova dílen strojního obrábění školy, tj. pořízení moderní techniky a kompatibilního software pro praktickou výuku oboru Strojírenství. Má-li výuka technických oborů probíhat na odpovídající odborné úrovni, je potřeba mít tuto výuku zajištěnou odpovídající moderní technikou.V rámci projektu tedy bude pořízeno vybavení, které zajistí, aby žáci mohli studovat v odpovídajících podmínkách a rozvíjet se v oboru svého studia a budoucího povolání.
