Projekt zahrnuje modernizaci oborů/programů1) Teorie a dějiny divadla, filmu a audiovizuální kultury a 2) Hudební věda a vznik nového oboru/programu 3) Digitální kultura a kreativní průmysly. Cílem je zkvalitnit propojení výuky, výzkumu a praxe a tím posílit uplatnitelnost absolventů v praxi. Potřeba projektu vychází jak z vnitřní dynamiky rozvoje uměnovědných oborů, tak z dynamiky rozvoje kulturních a kreativních průmyslů s jejich narůstající kulturní, hospodářskou a společenskou rolí.
