ČS Ponětovice v relativně významné ročním časovém období čerpá neefektivně přitékající odpadní vody z celkem 17 obcí aglomerace Šlapanicko. Výměnou 3 čerpadel řízeného výkonu (místo stávajících 1 malému a dvěma čerpadlům s velkými výkony), realizací efektivního systému měření, regulace a řízení čerpání, včetně stavební úpravy nátokové komory ČS dojde k významnémun zefektivnění provozu ČS, a to zejména z hlediska spotřeby elektrické energie.
