Cílem projektu je vyvinout a otestovat systém pro automatickou identifikace technologicky významných bodů na plechu po operaci válcování za účelem nastavení parametrů následné operace stříhání. Součástí projektu je návrh optického systému vhodného jednak pro strojové vidění a druhak pro měření. Dále bude vyvinut softwarový systém založený na principech strojového vidění, jehož cílem bude identifikovat na fotografii technologicky významné body a zaměřit je a předat pomocí API dále. a.
