Cílem projektu je vyvinout nový detekční systém pro řízení dopravy, který bude dosahovat podstatně lepších parametrů než systémy aktuálně v praxi používané. Toho bude dosaženo použitím kamerových systémů (standardních i nově vyvinutých) a algoritmů počítačového vidění pro detekci a klasifikaci účastníků silničního provozu, řešení bude poskytovat nebývale detailní informace o dopravní situaci, kterých bude využito novou dopravní nadstavbou k výraznému zkvalitnění sledování a řízení dopravy. a.
