PHARMIX, inovační firma, spolupracijící dlouhodobě s mnoha VŠ a dalšími firmami, provozující VaV ve vlastním VIC, vyvinula zařízení ChemSORP pro novátorské čištění průmyslových odpadních vod pomocí chemisorpce. Není známa průmyslová aplikace tohoto procesu na čištění odpadních vod. Zažízení přináší mnoho výhod oproti běžně užívaným metodám, jako je např. téměř 100 % odstranění ropných uhlovodíků NEL a podobně.
