Předmětem projektu je vytvoření nové výzkumně vývojové jednotky - Výzkumně vývojové centrum (VaV centrum) pro oblast tepelně energetických zařízení. Předkladatelem projektu je společnost EKOL spol. s r.o., která patří mezi přední světové výrobce a dodavatele energetických zařízení. Infrastruktura centra bude tvořena technickým vybavením jako i softwarem a hardwarem určeným pro zpracování konstrukčních a výpočtových návrhů nově vyvíjených uzlů energetických zařízení,zejména částí parních turbín.
