The modernisation works include a comprehensive renovation of the facility for use as a protected flat with ramps and facilities for the disabled. Przedmiotem projektu jest kompleksowa modernizacja budynku komunalnego będącego w zasobach Gminy Sławno z przeznaczeniem na mieszkanie chronione. Prace modernizacyjne obejmują kompleksowy remont obiektu w celu przystosowania do użytkowania jako mieszkanie chronione z wykonaniem pochylni i udogodnień dla niepełnosprawnych. Planowane są też prace remontowo budowlane i termomodernizacyjne wewnątrz budynku. Mieszkanie zostanie kompleksowo wyremontowane i wyposażone tak aby po zakończeniu prac technicznych mogły w nim zamieszkać osoby z terenu Gminy Sławno, które zostaną przygotowane do samodzielnego funkcjonowania w społeczeństwie, które były objęte pieczą zastępczą. Budynek objęty projektem jest zlokalizowany w odległości nie większej, niż 500 m od przystanku autobusowego, szkoły podstawowej i Gminnej Biblioteki Publicznej- co wpłynie pozytywnie na proces integracji i włączenia społecznego osób objętych procesem usamodzielniania.
