The object of the project is the renovation of the buildings of the Northern Podzamcze Pokrzyżacka in Elbląg (the building called "Kw. Middle school and southern wing of Podzamcza) and protection against threats of immovable objects and cultural heritage monuments, along with the implementation of innovative solutions in the field of presentation of collections. This will enable the creation of a museum offering tailored to the needs and perception of the contemporary audience and the creation of a branded cultural tourism product that will increase the tourist potential of the region. The project will be implemented by the Archaeological and Historical Museum in Elbląg. Ownership supervision will be carried out by the MAH Director. Project management (supervising implementation and timeliness of activities, allocation of resources, budget management, project clearance) will be entrusted to the project manager (MAH employee). Completion of the works will be ensured by the Contract Engineer – an external company, conservation supervision (completed of office by WUOZ), original (external service) and archaeological (MAH). The Museum staff will be involved in the implementation of the project from the substantive side. The project envisages: 1. General refurbishment of the building Middle school, 2. The final stage of the renovation of the southern wing of Podzamcza 3. Modernisation of 2 permanent exhibitions, construction of 3 new, temporary exhibition hall equipment 4. Construction of 2 virtual educational platforms 5. Implementation of facilities for tourists and people with disabilities 6. Modernisation of the collection warehouses. The project implements the assumptions of the WiM RPO SzOOP for priority 6c, contributing to the preservation, protection, promotion and development of cultural heritage. Thanks to its implementation, the number of cultural institutions using the offer will increase. The measures taken will help preserve the cultural heritage and use it for development by affecting the construction of regional identity, dissemination of knowledge about the history of the region and the development of the brand’s tourism and cultural offer. Przedmiotem projektu jest renowacja obiektów pokrzyżackiej zabudowy Podzamcza Północnego w Elblągu (budynek zw. Gimnazjum i skrzydło południowe Podzamcza) oraz zabezpieczenie przed zagrożeniami obiektów nieruchomych i zabytków ruchomych dziedzictwa kulturowego, wraz z wdrożeniem nowatorskich rozwiązań w dziedzinie prezentacji zbiorów. Umożliwi to stworzenie oferty muzealnej dostosowanej do potrzeb i percepcji współczesnego odbiorcy oraz wykreowanie markowego produktu turystyki kulturalnej, który wpłynie na wzrost potencjału turystycznego regionu. Projekt będzie realizowany przez Muzeum Archeologiczno-Historyczne w Elblągu. Nadzór właścicielski pełnić będzie Dyrektor MAH. Zarządzanie projektem (nadzór nad realizacją i terminowością działań, alokacja zasobów, zarządzanie budżetem, rozliczenie projektu) zostanie powierzone kierownikowi projektu (pracownik MAH). Prawidłowość realizacji robót zapewni Inżynier Kontraktu – firma zewnętrzna, nadzór konserwatorski (pełniony z urzędu przez WUOZ), autorski (usługa zewnętrzna) i archeologiczny (MAH). W realizację projektu od strony merytorycznej będzie zaangażowana kadra Muzeum. W ramach projektu przewiduje się: 1. Remont generalny budynku zw. Gimnazjum 2. Ostatni etap remontu skrzydła południowego Podzamcza 3. Modernizację 2 ekspozycji stałych, budowę 3 nowych, wyposażenie sali wystaw czasowych 4. Budowę 2 wirtualnych platform edukacyjnych 5. Wdrożenie udogodnień dla turystów i osób niepełnosprawnych 6. Modernizację magazynów zbiorów. Projekt realizuje założenia SzOOP RPO WiM dla priorytetu 6c, przyczyniając się do zachowania, ochrony, promocji i rozwoju dziedzictwa kultury. Dzięki jego realizacji wzrośnie liczba korzystających z oferty instytucji kultury. Podjęte działania posłużą zachowaniu dziedzictwa kulturowego i jego wykorzystaniu na rzecz rozwoju poprzez wpływanie na budowę tożsamości regionalnej, upowszechnianie wiedzy na temat historii regionu oraz rozbudowę markowej oferty turystyczno-kulturowej.
