The modernisation of street lighting in the municipality of Skocow will consist of an exchange of old, exploited light and mercury luminaires. These luminaires will be equipped with energy efficient LED luminaires. In addition, a lighting control system will be installed as part of the upgrade, which will enable the management of the specific street lighting to be managed, the monitoring of their work and the generation of reports. The investment planned is designed to save electricity and reduce emissions to the atmosphere. The existing ones are mostly exploited and do not meet the technical and quality requirements that meet the current standards. The investment involves the replacement of 1486 pieces of instruments. The application of the lighting control system will avoid excessive lighting, by reducing the light output in selected areas of the city and road sections or reducing individual lamp power.
