Projekt Witajcie w Nowej Bajce! zakłada objęcie wsparciem 50 dzieci (w tym 30 K i 20 M) w wieku przedszkolnym (3-4 lat) oraz 13 nauczycieli przedszkola (w tym 13 K i 0 M) z Gminy Knurów. Głównym celem projektu jest zwiększenie dostępu do wysokiej jakości edukacji przedszkolnej poprzez utworzenie w Miejskim Przedszkolu nr 2 im. Jana Brzechwy w Knurowie 2 nowych oddziałów wychowania przedszkolnego, doskonalenie umiejętności i kompetencji zawodowych nauczycieli w zakresie pracy z dziećmi w wieku przedszkolnym oraz rozszerzenie oferty edukacyjnej przedszkola, mające na celu wyrównanie szans edukacyjnych i rozwojowych dzieci. Projekt obejmuje swym zakresem zapewnienie bieżącej działalności nowych miejsc, zakup wyposażenia przedszkolnego, szkolenia nauczycieli oraz realizację zajęć dodatkowych z gimnastyki korekcyjnej, arteterapii, bajkoterapii, terapii behawioralnej oraz zajęć z psychologiem, pedagogiem i logopedą.
