Projekt zakłada remont pustostanów nie nadających się obecnie do zamieszkania ze względu na wyposażenie i stan techniczny w zdegradowanych obiektach na ulicach Bytomska, Katowicka, Oświęcimska, Powstańców, Szopena i Ziętka na cele utworzenia 18 mieszkań socjalnych. Przekazanie w użytkowanie lokali socjalnych stanowić będzie realną pomoc w procesie wyjścia z wykluczenia społecznego oraz wspomoże proces adaptacji do nowych ról społecznych osób z grup społecznie wykluczonych.
