The project “In the Good Direction...” is addressed to people with mental disorders and after traumatic experiences, long-term unemployment and inactive professionally, with deficits in education, experiencing multiple exclusions. The selection of the group is due to the noticeable increasing trend of these people volunteering to participate in CIS classes. For various reasons these people are not ready to live independently, their motivation is low, and there is a low life potential: lack of education, etc., resistance to failures, social skills. The project involves actions aimed at acquiring social competences and professional qualifications by the group to find and maintain a job. The aim of the project is to provide comprehensive support for socio-professional reintegration services of 360 people experiencing socio-occupational exclusion from the area of Tri-City and Gdańsk county, leading to an increase in their employment. Its recipients will be 160K and 200M – the proportion adopted results from the previous applicant, where as a rule the majority of participants in CIS Gdańsk are men. The reint. program will be implemented by CIS in Gd. in the period from 01.03.2017 to 30.06.2023r (6 year editions of 10 people for people with mental disorders and after traumatic experiences and 8 six editions of 30 people for people with other dysfunctions 5 days a week after a minimum of 6 h/day) by: specialised counselling of psychol., social, vocational advice, workshops developing social skills, educational activities, vocational workshops, trainings and specialised classes selected to the level of difficulties, especially groups with mental disorders. The most important result of the project will be gaining employment by at least 66 people (22 % of all participants/participants of the project) and acquisition of socio-professional competences by 168 people (56 % of all project participants). The project will be a continuation of the current project. (English)

(Polish)
