Przedmiotem projektu jest budowa ostatniego odcinka trasy N-S, która ma na celu utworzenie bezkolizyjnego połączenia Drogowej Trasy Średnicowej z autostradą A4. Odcinek ten obejmuje budowę trasy N-S o długości 1670 m od ul. Kokota do połączenia z autostradą A4 w węźle „Wirek”. W ramach projektu przewidziano budowę m.in.: - obiektów inżynierskich - elementów systemu odwodnienia - chodników i ścieżek rowerowych - elementów bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego takich jak: bariery ochronne, oznakowanie poziome i pionowe - oświetlenia wzdłuż całej trasy - przepustów zintegrowanych z przejściem dla małych zwierząt. Celem projektu jest: - zwiększenie dostępności DTŚ i autostrady A4 - bezkolizyjne połączenie DTŚ z autostradą A4 - zwiększenie przepustowości DW 925 w kierunku pn.– pd. - zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa ruchu na ul. 1 Maja - skrócenie czasu przejazdu pomiędzy pn. i pd. dzielnicami miasta oraz ul. 1 Maja - podniesienie atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej terenów położonych w ciągu ul. 1 Maja i N-S (Polish)
