The aim of the project is to develop a new product in the form of an innovative, automated instrumentation line for assembly and welding of the chassis of rail vehicles and its production technology through R & D. The objective is due to the fact that, according to the current situation, there is a very low degree of process automation within the rail vehicle manufacturing industry, as a result of the specificities of this sector. The realisation of small-scale, large-size production, including the need to take into account several hundred welded elements and subassemblies (including movable components) is a very demanding construction task, which determines new functional solutions. The scope of the tests includes laboratory tests (both in computer simulation conditions and the actual execution of the components) and real (prototypical manufacturing process and testing under operational conditions). Celem projektu jest opracowanie nowego produktu w postaci innowacyjnej, zautomatyzowanej linii oprzyrządowania do montażu i spawania podwozia pojazdów szynowych oraz technologii jej produkcji poprzez realizację prac badawczo-rozwojowych. Założony cel wynika z faktu, iż zgodnie ze stanem aktualnym, w ramach branży produkcji pojazdów szynowych występuje bardzo niski stopień automatyzacji procesów, będący wynikiem specyfiki tego sektora. Realizacja produkcji małoseryjnej, wielkogabarytowej, obejmującej konieczność uwzględnienia kilkuset elementów naspawywanych i podzespołów (w tym elementów ruchomych) stanowi bardzo wymagające zadanie konstrukcyjne, warunkujące nowe rozwiązania funkcjonalne. Zakres badań obejmuje badania laboratoryjne (zarówno w warunkach symulacji komputerowych jak i faktyczne wykonawstwo podzespołów) oraz rzeczywiste (prototypowy proces produkcyjny i testowanie w warunkach operacyjnych). W skład zespołu badawczego wejdą eksperci, personel wykonawczy i jednostka naukowa. (Polish)
