The subject of this project is to carry out research and development to develop sediment dewatering technology in synthetic containers (processing innovation), which will extend the range of services provided by the Applicant and enter the demand requested by the market. The increasing number of sludge remains after wastewater treatment or production processes require an effective method of dewatering if they are to be used for disposal. In order to achieve not only an ecological effect but also an economic effect, it is important to get rid of as much water as possible from the sediment extracted from the reservoir. The aim of the project is to address the problem presented above by testing the use of synthetic containers for draining various types of sediments. The project will translate into a number of benefits: the growth of the Company’s competitiveness, implementation of the pro-environmental method and will generate an impetus for further development of the industry. (Polish)
