Projekt polega na budowie kanalizacji sanitarnej: grawitacyjnej, tłocznej wraz z przepompowniami ścieków w gminie Rędziny, na odcinku Marianka Rędzińska-Wodnica-Rudniki. W wyniku realizacji inwestycji zwiększy się udział ludności gminy Rędziny korzystającej z systemu oczyszczania ścieków zgodnego z dyrektywą dotyczącą ścieków komunalnych. Przedsięwzięcie przyczyni się do ograniczenia ilos´ci zanieczyszczen´ przedostaja?cych sie? do wo´d i gleby na terenie obje?tym przedmiotowa? inwestycja?, a w konsekwencji do poprawy stanu środowiska naturalnego i rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego gminy.
