    Inwestycja jest jednym z etapów rewitalizacji linii kolejowej nr 207. Projekt zakłada rewitalizację odcinka linii kolejowej od granicy województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego i pomorskiego do Malborka. Wymieniona zostanie nawierzchnia kolejowa, w celu poprawy stanu bezpieczeństwa zmodernizowane i przebudowane zostaną przejazdy kolejowe oraz kolejowe obiekty inżynierskie, a także urządzenia sterowania ruchem kolejowym. Zaplanowano także przebudowę obiektów obsługi podróżnych na stacjach i przystankach. Na wszystkich stacjach i przystankach osobowych zaprojektowano podniesienie peronów do wysokości 0,76 m powyżej główki szyny. Dwa perony wyspowe na stacji Kwidzyn i jeden na stacji Sztum zaprojektowano o długości 200 m,pozostałe będą miały długość 125 m (Polish)
