The project involves implementing technological innovation in the company through the use of WPC (Wood Plastics Composites) in the production process for the manufacture of disposable products in the form of dishes and cutlery and other disposable products. WPC is characterised by environmentally friendly features (compared to polystyrene used so far), since it is 100 % of natural origin. Wood-plastic composite (WPC) is classified not only as renewable materials but also as biodegradable materials – it meets the latest European standards on compostability and biodegradability: EN13432 and EN14995. On the basis of the own tests, it was concluded that the abovementioned production was possible. Highly technologically advanced plastic will provide the appropriate strength properties of the product. The project is based on the latest available technological solutions developed by the applicant. (English)

(Polish)
