The implementation of the project has a positive impact on the socio-economic situation of the inhabitants of Szczuczyn and at the same time contributes to solving problems diagnosed in the spatial, functional and technical sphere. The project is part of the so-called small revitalisation framework, which will improve the quality of life of residents (especially among children and schoolchildren, older people, disabled people, with reduced mobility – disadvantaged groups) by increasing accessibility to urban infrastructure. Thanks to the work done, the public transport stop will begin to perform its functions, while the parking lot will become a safe place for residents and travellers to use. Installing monitoring within the revitalised space will not only ensure the sustainability of the investment, but above all will contribute to increasing the level and safety of travellers. The aesthetics of the area, located within the historic urban layout of cities entered in the Register of Monuments of Podlasie Voivodeship, will also improve. Within the framework of this project, the applicant intends to carry out an investment consisting of rebuilding the bus stop at Sobieskiego Street together with a part of Sobieskiego Street and converting the existing car park into passenger cars at Pawełki Street in Szczuczyn. Construction works concerning the square at the junction of Sobieskiego and Pawełki Streets will consist of demolition of existing elements of roads, construction of two wells of rainwater drainage, setting up three stop lamps, construction of a broken aggregate substructure, construction of the asphalt concrete substructure, laying of the building of the asphalt-concrete building, laying of the pavement of graphite pavement with periphery on yellow, and construction of the asphalt concrete. Realizacja projektu wpływa pozytywnie na sytuację społeczno-gospodarczą mieszkańców Szczuczyna i jednocześnie przyczynia się do rozwiązania problemów zdiagnozowanych w sferze przestrzenno-funkcjonalnej i technicznej. Przedsięwzięcie wpisuje się w ramy tzw. małej rewitalizacji, dzięki której poprawi się jakość życia mieszkańców (zwłaszcza wśród dzieci i młodzieży szkolnej, osób starszych, niepełnosprawnych, o ograniczonej mobilności - grupy defaworyzowane), poprzez zwiększenie dostępności do infrastruktury miejskiej. Dzięki przeprowadzonym pracom przystanek komunikacji miejskiej zacznie pełnić swoją funkcje, zaś parking stanie się bezpiecznym miejscem, z którego będą korzystać mieszkańcy i podróżni.
