The main objective of the project is to improve flood safety in the Vistula river valley in Podkarpackie voivodship, by continuing the process of expanding the backfloor dams of the Trześniówka river. The activities carried out under the project will directly contribute to increasing the level of flood safety in the area at risk of flooding, flooding in the areas of Gorzyce commune and the City of Tarnobrzeg. The implementation of the project will increase the resilience of this area to the risks caused by adverse climate change (floods and flooding). The project is one of the investments aimed at protecting areas with medium flood risk. The effects of the project will minimise or completely eliminate the flood risk and thus its effects: human losses, loss of health to residents, irreversible damage and environmental degradation, losses in property of persons and economic operators, losses in public property, high costs for local authorities to rebuild destroyed public property. The project consists of the expansion of the right flood embankment on the section in km 4 + 641-7+ 678 with a total length of 3.037 km. As part of the extension of the shaft, it is envisaged to extend and increase the body and to provide protection against the body and substrate. In order to ensure dehydration of the site, it will be necessary to remodel 1 pieces of shaft culvert. In order to ensure efficient communication during flood actions and for the maintenance of the shaft, it is envisaged to improve the communication system by means of a flood road, the extension of 4 shaft crossings and the execution of road culverts. In addition, as part of the works accompanying the extension of the ramp, it is envisaged to eliminate the collision of its route with the armament of the site and repair public roads used for the delivery of building materials for the construction.
